YSV SCULT Academy is dedicated to todays and future sport volunteers and their managers. Sport and physical activity sector is heavily relaying on volunteers. Without them, most activity simply wouldn’t happen. Sport is the most attractive field for volunteering, in which over 30 million people in the EU take part either occasionally or regularly. Both, the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic games had about 70 000 sport volunteers nicknamed as Game Makers or Runners.

First day of the SCULT Academy is a forum taking pace at the Tartu Vocational Education Centre (Oct 6, 9:30-14:10) followed with volunteering at the Tartu Night Run 2017 the same evening (Oct 6, 16:00-23:00).

The second day of the SCULT Academy is dedicated to volunteering at the Tartu City Marathon 2017 running events (Oct 7, 7:30-16:00).

Diplomas of the YSV SCULT Academy 2017 will be given out after the City Marathon, the practical part of the Academy (Oct 7, 16:00-16:30).

YSV SCULT Academy 2017 “Sport Volunteering and Volunteers Management” is the final event of the Sport Year Foundation Interreg Central Baltic Project Youth-Sport-Vol. Partners of the project are Sport Year Foundation (Estonia) and Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences (Finland) - read more HERE.
